Amazing book

Absolutely LOVED this book. A must read for anyone who loves animals. What a story!

I recently read Stacey's book. Her insights into owl behavior also provide insight into other animals, and how we humans treat them. Fascinating book that I would recommend to everyone. How fortunate Stacey was to have had the opportunity to have such an intimate (no pun intended) relationship with a wild animal.

Your story so touched my heart more than any other, so well written that I fell in love with Wesley, laughed as he was brought to life as before my very eyes. I wept sorely at the last chapter of his life. If you ever write anything else, I would very much like to read it, as this book has left an impression and made me wiser and a better person.

I want to see a video of Wesley going "deedle deedle dee"!

hang a halo above her head! she is the best human being ever to exist! Thank you stacey! Lord bless you!

Stacey, I admire you & your work. I just wish that you'd have made good on your offer to help our Girl Scout troop with our Barn Owl project. The girls are disappointed that, after your invitation in public (at the San Carlos cam chat -- a thrilling moment for them), you simply ignored them in private. I've told them that you are just too busy taking care of other owls ...

Stacey, you devoted your life, your heart, and your love to your little guy, and he to you. I unwaiveringly believe, on a wing and a prayer, that one day,
God will reunite you with him, because Love never dies. Thank you for writing such a beautiful book.

Best book I've read all year!!!
Dude,
She had brain tumor and she had to take all kinds of meds that had all kinds of side-effects, including gaining weight. Plus all of us get fatter as we age. If you want to see only skinnies, look for it in Playboy or something , don't waste your time and spare the rest of us of your idiocy.
