l. We all know Federer's backhand is his weakness, but what is it that makes it weaker? It's because he has to hit out infront so much more than Nadal and Djokovic since it's the nature of a one handed to hit out in front more than a two handed. Consequently, he hits tennis balls that just bounce up in the strike range of Nadal and Djokovic backhands or forehands. Two terrifying shots to give a easy shot to. Federer is still doing well despite that though.. A genius within geniuses?

Djokovic is the most balanced ground stroke player I've seen in history. His Backhand and Forehands are both weapons. If you have seen the two matches he played with Nadal in Madrid 2011 and Rome 2011, you can see that neither side can be considered weaker than the other. They both are reliable weapons. Although Federer will always be my my all time favorite, Djokovic's evolution will force players to have a weapon of a forehand AND backhand.

@serbianpupil You're completely right, but now you act like Rafa and Djoko fans are sweet little angels who don't insult Federer, make up excuses, trolling etc. I personally respect Djokovic for the improvement he's made. I think he's a worthy number one. I think he's also tactically more balanced than Nadal, who obviously is one of the greats but nadal's game doesn't really appeal to me aswell as certain oncourt antics that annoy me. But yeah let's respect all of their achievements.

@Stylaz21 We can argue about his behavior, but his tennis skills are undeniable. He doesn't have the perfect body. This doesn't matter. But what personally annoys me are his fans.Sure he might be the GOAT and so on,but it has also to do with fairness to admit that other guys like Rafa and Nole were always good competitors and also deserve respect for what they achieved. You see if someone is too biased, then he tends to overrate and to disrespect others. In fact you should respect every good player.

@serbianpupil I agree that Federer aint as muscular as Novak and Rafa but that has more to do with his work ethic. Federer's philosophy had more to do with keeping his body as fluent as possible, not wearing his body down too much in the gym. He is slobby though, I really think he needs to get rid of his belly and gain some core strength. But, the guy still is an amazing athlete despite his slobby body.

@username12009 Federer's backhand is his Achille's heel. It's the only consistent way to beat him. It isn't a particularly poor shot, but it is clearly the weakest part of his game that his competition exploits.

@username12009 You imply Djokovic doesn't have excellent skill... I'd say he has more skill than Nadal. I'm surprised you don't find Nadal's game boring.
