家乡的小路 A little road that leads to home

芦苇艺术团契福音舞台剧，情系红丝带主题曲-家乡的小路. 海明与海强年幼时生活在马来亚一个贫困的家庭，兄弟俩感情甚好。父亲与同乡狗熊到新加坡谋生，在狗熊的影响下染上毒瘾，一次在警察追捕中被车撞死。海明与海强年幼无人照顾­，哥哥海强比较幸运被舅舅带走，从此断了音讯。母亲阿莲带着海明前往新加坡谋生，为了生活无奈投靠狗熊在其咖啡店做啤酒女郎，与毒贩狗熊有暧昧关系。海明渐渐长大，厌恶狗­熊与母亲不寻常的关系，却在狗熊的设计下染上毒瘾，步上父亲的后尘。白玲自中学时期就与海明相恋，明知海明染上毒瘾也没有放弃他，而且还怀了海明的孩子，一心盼望海明改过­自新。可是海明进出监牢多年，由于意志薄弱，始终逃不出狗熊的魔掌，被狗熊利用为他携带毒品。白玲最终对他心灰意冷，抛下幼女离他而去。海明颓丧消极，以监牢为家，后得一­监狱官的关怀，并多方打听其家庭背景。监狱官还以红丝带向海明传讲基督宝血的救恩。海明出狱后，监狱官暗地里安排海明到煤气店工作，深得老板宝叔的照顾。狗熊再来找海明为­其跑腿，海明拒绝，狗熊老羞成怒欲伤海明，监狱官挺身保护海明而死，临终前叫出海明外号，方透露了自己是哥哥海强的身份。海明从宝叔口中知道哥哥海强对自己用心良苦，想起­过去海强对自己的关怀，兄弟情深，后悔之泪不禁流下。过后海明带着海强之骨灰回来见母亲，母亲惊讶海明之改变，海明说是一好友使自己改变，但隐瞒海强之真正身份，然后把海­强之骨灰撒在故乡的河流中。夕阳下，悔改后的海明和女儿在河边怀念着海强，见母亲带者白玲出现。。。
Beng & Chong grew up in a destitute family in Malaysia. Father went to Singapore to carve out a living with fellow villager Bear, but was led astray by the latter and got involved with drugs. He was killed in a car accident in an attempt to escape from the pursuit of the police. Little Beng and Chong soon had to be separated when Mother decided to bring Beng to Singapore, while a kind relative offered to take care of Chong. Faced with the many challenges in life, Mother survived only as a beer-girl in Bear's coffeeshop, succumbing to an illicit relationship with him. Beng was unwittingly tricked into drug abuse. In spite of being jailed several times, Beng never learnt his lesson. Back in jail, Beng was encouraged by a caring prison warden to turn over a new leaf. Bear tracked him down when he was released and wanted him to continue serving him; At the critical juncture when Bear was about to hurt Beng, the prison warden appeared and took the blow for Beng. Beng realised only too late that the caring prison warden was his brother, who knew his identity all along. Devastated but determined, Beng found new strength in turning over a new leaf. Returning home to his mother, Beng brought Chong's ashes back to his hometown in Malaysia, and scattered them into the river they grew up playing in.
