Is there collision set up for the lilly pads? They should be radiating a ripple off them back in the source direction
Unicorn Scene,
Im assuming you used 3dsmax (your an AI student like my wife and thats what they make her use) On your model, go into vector mode and try using the "Paint Deformation" brush (near the bottom of the list) to smooth out the front legs of the unicorn, the light on it makes it VERY sharp
