Derek Trucks has an amazing finger picking technique - almost sounds like Mark Knopfler meets Santana. Thanks for posting !

Dude, you need to get it straight. I know he plays slide guitar. I am referring to his picking style - he is not using a guitar pick to pick the strings but uses his fingers - e.g .just like Mark Knopfler - gives a great sound.Sliding refers to the motion he does on the fretboard with the sliding tube.

Thanks so much for this! My son & I were there. Awesome show!! Carlos had 'em jumping around & dancing in the aisles! I'm a big ABB & DTB fan, but I must say Derek sounded better here than in opening. DTB didn't play w/usual energy and suffered in comp to Santana's band. Thanks again!!!

You're welcome. Sorry for the poor video quality. I had pavilion seats but they said no video in the pavilion. It was difficult to keep the camera steady with it zoomed to it's fullest and at this distance. I'll be putting up a few more videos shortly.
