Hey I figured out what your giant blueberries were. They sell them in the grocery stores here too. They're called Empire Plums. I like regular plums better but maybe I just got a not so good batch.

Have you found any green tea cookies? They are yummy! they sale them here in Las Vegas, they are Japanese, and come in a Green Box, with at least 10 or more individually wrapped cookies. For when you're on the go and whatnot. I reco them. ^_^

really enjoyed your videos. Spent some time in chiba myself for a few months and i completely know how ya felt. Its great compared to the area you were in. The summers there are very humid and now that i realize it i did alot of walking in the sun with no rag or drink. Glad to see everything worked out for you in the end.

^_^ Thank you! Yeah, having a bicycle helps a lot. Now that I know some Japanese I've also found they have different things to combat the sweaty look- like things you can put in your shirt to absorb sweat, moist pasts that will cool you off, etc.
It is a pretty area tho, isn't it? I hope this summer isn't as bad as the last one ^^; it was sooo hot

Which university were you studying at?

^_^ I'm still studying there but I can't disclose the name until I get back- August 2009. Our living arrangements are not arranged through the school if that's what you're wondering about. Although, they did help me find an apartment when I was having troubles w/ the host family.
