Hiding Self Injury Scars: part 2

This is the follow-up to the first "Hiding Self Injury Scars" video, and it deals with reducing and removing self-injury scars - as well as more tips on hiding them and deflecting questions.

Some easy ways to hide self-injury scars. NOTE: I said SCARS, NOT CUTS. Even when someone doesn't self harm anymore, the scars last forever. These are ideas to help conceal SCARS. If you are self-harming in any way please seek the help of a professional or tell a loved one!

I am not a professional. I am a recovering self-injurer who does not have cuts anymore, but the scars have not gone away. In order to not face discrimination in the work place, school, and social situations, I have to cover up my SCARS.

im trying to find a job, and if i do, there's a lot of uniforms with short sleeves. im scared that they're gonna think something.. and my scars are really dark for some reason. i wanna get rid of these really fast :\

Thx for the advice! I usually wear lots of rubber wristbands to hide my scars cause I only cut in my lower arm and wrist. But I've been trying to stop and sometimes I just let them show and don't car what people say or think. and I've Also been putting some scar oils on them so that's helping too. But it's summer now so hopefully I'll make it through :)

I've seen your other vids... of you explaining that you don't give advices for people to cut themselves, but for them to be able to hide the scars... not the behaviour. I think these videos might became your therapy... and I really hope you can get better... I used to self harm myself too, and I can asure you that it's possible to get out of this. But it requires a lot of efford. You are really brave by showing what happens to you. kisses from argentina.

@ResurgamAnima ... you are disrespectful - shes only trying to help, if you know so much make ur own video. Shes not helping people to cover the scars so they can do it more; shes helping those who have stopped or cant stop to hide the scars cause believe it or not, society judges you for it because they either havnt done it or are unaware of the emotional strain people that self harm go through. If it doesnt help, find a video that does and dont be so rude and ignorant.
