Matt Hughes and Chael Sonnen are not happy at all to see their wresting buddy (Rashad Evans)losing the tittle

@adnanabbasi1992 i tend to forget hammil's chin isn't iron, although he looks like he could take a sledgehammer to the face. Rampage is also a better boxer so if it's standing mostly, Rampage should have it but I can't root against Matt Hammil
-
@adnanabbasi1992 nice, hammil vs rampage? I think hammil can win that. Hammil has the wrestling advantage and a good chin so it may be a hard fight for Rampage but of course it is rampage. Can't really count him out of anything

@adnanabbasi1992 didn't Thiago Silva test positive or something? I think Machida should beat Randy and then Forrest would make sense as a follow up. I think if he wins both he'll be in contention again. I think Jones potential could control this fight but I think Shogun could finish it. He can knock out Jones if he gets inside his reach which will be hard but he did it to Machida so I think it's very possible. Plus if Jones takes him down, Shogun could submit him. Shogun's BJJ is insane
-
@adnanabbasi1992 true. I think Machida can do better than he has been and hopefully shogun's still at his best. He'll need to be against Jon Jones.

@adnanabbasi1992 he was the aggressor in round 4 but he did not land more strikes. Machida landed a significant amount more actually. I didn't think so either until I watched that round closely. Being aggressive doesn't matter if you're not landing, I'm sorry but the direction you walk is irrelevant & it's a problem with UFC judging as Machida's last fight showed.Machida got more damaged, I know he did, it's a fact but I think landing more strikes & winning exchanges is more important
-
@adnanabbasi1992 you clearly need to watch it again. be more thorough this time because Shogun definetly lost round 2 and 1 was close but Machida outstruck him. round 4 also wasn't a win for shogun clearly. it was close and it looked like shogun won it but he missed so many strikes that he actually lost it. head strikes count for more than leg kicks because they're much harder to land, that's why machida won. who cares anyway, this was 2 years ago, both have moved on since
-
@adnanabbasi1992 not enough said. watch the fight again twice with no volume. round 4 was as close as round 1 because shogun missed so many times. Machida obviously won rounds 2 and 3, 2 was not close compared to the other rounds. Watch it in slo mo if you have to, shogun missed more shots than even I thought, and I thought Machida won before I rewatched the fight 30 times. Damage and leg kicks don't win fights, effective counterstriking and winning exchanges does

MACHIDA YOU ARE A LEGEND, A TRUE TRADITIONAL MARTIAL ARTIST

fuck all these haters. Machida is the best in lhw and he's a mad cool guy. All you haters hate him over one fuckin fight!!! and it wasn't his fault!!! he's not one of the judges but even if he was, he one that fight. you all need to watch the fight again with the volume off. in a title fight that's close, leg kicks aren't gonna get you the belt. Shogun was too careful and just went for points but he didn't win the first 2 rounds for sure, I don't think he won the 3rd either

you just cant give rounds 1,2,3 to shogun after rewatching it clearly. machida landed more face shots and threw leg kicks also... i already added the strikes to get this stupid arguement over with and i stick to machida wining 1,2,3. i understand the judges vote.
