im not popular at school.but that doesnt mean i dont have friends or that people dont know who i am.

just doesnt mean im in with the cool groups and someone who everyone wants to be.

as adam says in a later interview "it's not that they didnt like me, its that they did GET me"

Well also, you know how at the end of high school, all of a sudden people just get along better? It is probably a combo of that and the fact that these 2 people are probably in the arts as well so they know Adam more. I am sure he is not the "cool jock" kid. He probably was unaware at how even though he was different his beautiful spirit shone through even then. He probably didn't realize how likeable he was ya know?

Did Adam get beat up alot at HS? I don't think he did. Therefore he was not unpopular. He probably was the lead guy in the play at HS.

I think what Adam meant when he said he wasn't popular in high school was that he didn't belong to the 'popular group' like the jocks kind...

Adam was not popular but many knew him because of his musicals and talent, people said he was known as the music guy in school...
