  • A friend told me a story of when he hung out at the same bar as Mickey. Mickey would sit at a table towards the back with his buddies. This guy said that you wouldn't look at him when you walked by to use the john. Once he was in the john and looked over and Mickey was in the stall next to him. He said that Mickey was an extremely large, intimidating guy, especially when he drank.

  • I have a bunch of Indiana Jones 4 filming videos from Essex and New Haven, CT at my channel to check out.

  • mantle must have been the best.look how many times they were in the world series while he was playing.you may say well he played with an all around better team.so he was the best of the best.

  • Best. Yankee. Ever.

  • In my opinion Mantle was the most outstanding player that has ever lived. he came from a small town of Spavina Oklahoma and turned out as a man who goes down in many people's hearts. and anyone who says he had a drinking problem...he did but he knew it. AND he gave speeches to children about not drinking. R.I.P August 13, 1995 "The Mick"

  • @larrycro sure right on bro??

  • Two words for greatness; Roberto Clemente. Had he played in New York he would have been a god.

  • Living in KC, I didn't get to see the Yankees or Mickey all that much, but man, I gotta tell ya, when Mantle caught a ball square, it was different, just different than anyone else. At the old Municipal Stadium I saw the Mick hit several home runs, one left handed clearing everything baseball and landing in the front yard of a home across Brooklyn Ave. That ball was hit so hard, a line drive, it was completely out of the place in just 2 or 3 seconds! Another cleared the fan-a-gram in center fld

  • Mantle was amazing but Ted Williams was better, all time it goes Williams then Ruth then Mantle

  • my dads friend andy got this guy signed no joke

  • mickey mantle was so amazing he had something special
