The work and ministry of sermonindex can be encapsulated in this one word: REVIVAL. sermonindex is not a organisation, business, or any attempt by man to build something for God. It is rather a expression of a heart burden to see the Church revived and brought back to holiness, purity, and power with God. "The mission of SermonIndex is the preservation and propogation of classical vintage preaching and the promotion of genuine biblical revival to this generation."
this was taped in 1982? seems about right. america is usually about fifty or sixty years behind the rest of the world. this was taken up by the likes of ts eliot and chesterton against babbitt in a much more sophisticated and convincing way in the 1920's.

Galatians 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.
1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1 Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Romans 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

@GodKillerAtheist How is someone that cannot even feed themselves well adapted to their environment? Maybe you over-looked the fact that if someone doesn't feed them and give them water then they're going to die in a matter of days.

@GodKillerAtheist Yeah, I guess you're right, I just don't understand natural selection, maybe someone as smart as you can Learn it to me someday.............What has me scratching my head is that new therapies for genetic disorders doesn't sound very "Natural".

@ChiefClickClack
"I'm literally talking about people who cannot take care of themselves"
As I stated before that doesn't matter since their genes are all that matter.
"so what is your solution to these people: Should the government take care of them?" Currently there are many new therapies for genetic disorders. Killing people because you feel they are physically and mentally broken isn't a valid reason to remove them from the gene pool. You just don't understand natural selection.

@TheHistoryguy10 "then we are left with what you call subjective morals or what I call hedonism"
and you can call it cheese whiz because it's obvious you don't understand what you're talking about.

@TheHistoryguy10 Again your copied and pasted point is invalid and I've shown you plenty of reasons why. subjective morals are more moral than objective morals of the bible there is just no way around it sorry if you just can't understand.
