Update: Environment Canada confirmed it was a F0 Tornado
Shot From Ottawa Looking at Alymer/ Gatineau Hills
Was watching tv .. Noticed very dark clouds so I checked the weather network radar maps noticed the system was strong enough to produce a tornado so I ran out to the balcony with my DSLR and boom there it was ..

  • @TheJalex very true.. lol they wont announce a tornado warning until it has atleast rip apart 50 homes, that or if its a false alarm..

  • This was yesterday .. June 23. 2011 730-8pm over Gatineau ( Aylmer, quebec) it's right beside Ottawa river which is Ontario.. Which is why people a lot of time consider that area part of Ontario Canada instead of Quebec Canada

  • @Canuckism101 Correction to previous post and continuation.

"Lots of heat means lots of wind means messed up weather..".. so on.

its interesting all the hype about " global warming" and doing things like geo-engineering to try to prevent it.. blaming us consumers and spraying aluninium dioxide and sulhpur dioxide into our air to create a "sun block". when all they REALLY need to do is stop messing around with our atmosphere and then they wont have to mess around with it some more.

  • @Canuckism101 instead of bothering to go on a rant about HAARP ( which i follow btw ) trying to get them to go to articles and want-not ( which mos tof them wont).. try clobbeing them with a fact or two.. such as..

Transmitting high frequency waves into anything will create heat ( i give you the microwave oven)... creating heat creates wind. lots of means lots of wind means messed up weather patterns thrown out of whack. anyone in HVAC can tell you this.

  • Ouin, quand jai vue sa moé la, JE CAPOTAAAAAIS!!!!! We hadn't had a tornado here in Aylmer since 1994!

  • @Canuckism101 happend before haarp and eveything about alot of tornadoes is bs in 1972? i think 73 tornadoes spread acoss 1 piece of land in 2 days so shut up about haarp!

  • i was in that storm and we were all abut to head to the basement

  • @Canuckism101 I just visited your channel, subed you.

  • @Canuckism101 Are you refering to HARRP? I'm just learning about HARRP myself and would like to know your thoughts on the subject. Is there a heater close to Aylmer?

  • Aylmer has been hit hard a few times. A lot of trees break in half and fall over. I have a video of the Aylmer Marina on my youtube account. After the storm on July 17th, 2011, a lot of trees broke in half and a lot of people were out of power. We're in for more of this kind of weather. Very scary.

  • Environment Canada is a joke...whenever there's a tornado warning there's never an actual tornado and when there is a tornado there's never a tornado warning, sometimes not even a severe thunderstorm warning. Do meteorologists in Canada know how to use radar? Even the narrator in the video knew there was a tornado by the radar. Apparently it's still 1952 in terms of severe weather forecasting in Canada. BTW Thank you so much for the video it's so fascinating to see a tornado here in Ottawa.
