  • @kyubihanyou I listened to everything, didn't sound like it at all.

  • @SuperSonic1080p

Sonic Chaos borrowed quite a bit composition-wise from Sonic 2 (8-bit). The Title theme, the Miss/Lose a Life jingle, even the Scrambled Egg Zone and Boss themes for the game's final act.

The case of Mecha Green Hill is similar. The bridge and chorus sections of Sonic - You Can Do Anything are the easiest to recognize in that track.

  • @Iceeman234

Of course they don't: one's 8-bit and the other's CD quality. You need to look at the beats shared between them as well as analyze key measures and make section comparisons for maximum effect.

  • @FS3K

It's unfortunate you think that, because the melody similarities are among the greatest in those two sets. There's a key portion in each of those tracks that, when compared to each other, you'll find pretty hard to unhear it.

Rhythm, meanwhile, is best noticed between Gimmick Mountain and Collision Chaos (the beginning of each) and Crystal Egg and Tidal Tempest (when both start to pick up).

  • TOOT TOOT SONIC WARRIOR

  • @RykenInverse I know.

  • I like how no one seems to catch on to the fact that they just took this theme and added lyrics to make Toot Toot Sonic Warrior :v

  • I hear toot toot Sonic Warrior.

  • Hedgehog*

  • Personaly, I prefer this over Sonic CD's version.
