Grandmother Song (cover)

I've always wanted to do a cover of Vienna Teng, but her songs are so beautifully complex and dynamic that my skills have never really matched up. I'm afraid this little cover doesn't really do it justice either, but I wanted to give it a shot, anyway.

This is "Grandmother Song" from her newest album, "Inland Territory". I saw Vienna live in concert last April, and it was absolutely incredible. If she ever comes to your area, make sure to see her!

So, enjoy the cover (if you can, heh).

I love Vienna Teng. I agree with you, she is simply AMAZING. Most of the time, I never dare listening to covers... because I always think it is some kind of slaughter, but your cover is extraordinary. You must have worked quite a lot on this. (I have tried to sing Shasta and Passage correctly, and it is soooo hard). So very well done ! (not sure it is really english, but, hey, it's how I feel!) It sounds really great !
