NMH no longer exist, and haven't for fucking years. Why does every generation of hipster think they're the first to discover NMH? Also this is a fantastic cover, though I prefer his Modest Mouse covers.

I love NMH and I love Brand New equally. I will admit, Brand New has more quality albums, but In the Aeroplane is the best CD since Nirvana's Nevermind. Now everyone shut up and listen to the lead singer of an awesome band pay tribute to an equally awesome band.

he plays neutral milk hotel because it was an inspiration to him when he was young, and they also broke up, so he wants to play these beautiful songs for everyone because the original artists choose not to do so.
