This is my laney cub 12R with Schecter C1 classic guitar plugged in 1watt input.
There is a clean sound, then a clean with reverb, then a bit drive, then crunch, then full preamp gain, then full gain and volume.
Thanks http://www.youtube.com/user/alexediman for helping with the recording

excuse my mistakes, it is nothing more than a sound demo of the amp! :)

  • that lick at 1:50 is epic! arpeggio? mixolydian mode? black magic?

  • @Mannnncho1 i'd chose the bugera only if i NEEDED 2 channels. Otherwise i think cub is a better amp

  • @irakliszs ok. tnx! just one more question. I have to choose between bugera v22 and cub 12. which one would you choose?

  • @Mannnncho1 It depends, but still the quality will be a lot better because its a different approach. The mic records the preamp, the power amp and the speaker, that all 3 color the sound especially the speaker. With recording from effects out you only record the preamp so the signal has too many high frequencies (mostly with drive sounds) that otherwise would be cut off nicely by the speaker. The behringer mic is the XM8500.

  • @irakliszs I didn´t know that is so cheap. price probably depends on mics quality. Or? Could you please tell me what is the model of yours mic?

  • @Mannnncho1 the point is that your tone will sound artificial if its a dirty sound. It doesn't matter if the drive comes from the amp or pedal. I guess you can make it better if tweak the equalizer of the mixer, mostly to cut some of the high frequencies. You don't need a lot o money for a decent mic. I recorded with a behringer that costs about 20 euros. I think its a very decent and very cheap solution. Good luck anyways!
