the thing that gets me is ginger always had to do these routines in heels bravo

@jenbunny00 actually it was about 20 sec to 23 sec they kind of slowed it down & did that jazz hand type of thing...still whatever it is it looks hard to say the very least.

Who was his favorite dancer to work with? does anyone know? The subtleties of their hands and hip movements at about 25 seconds looks hard enough to get spot on in sync with eachother.

Still my favourite tap routine ever! They make it look so easy...I understand about having to move with it....once it gets in your system, it never leaves!

does anyone know the song?

quel talent de nous faire croire que c'est simple alors que c'est tout le contraire
c'est un immense duo
Wow! She was 37 , and he, 49, in 1949, when this was made. All I have to say is, that this was a some technical workout...and Ginger, as in the 30s, was more than up to it. I read that Fred was very happy with her performance here. It's alive, complex, and super rhythmic. Tony Bennett said that Fred, his neighbor, once told him, that whenever he heard rhythm he couldn't help himself. He "just had to move with it." Check it out!
