Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner is expected to face intense questioning on Capitol Hill later this week as more information comes to light on the US government's bailout of AIG. Will heads roll over the controversy, or is it just another example of how nothing has changed between the Bush and Obama Administrations?

Fed & Treasury are under investigation. Portnaya is reporting these allegations as established fact -- it's not, and Neil Barofsky is investigating (no mention of him in this story!?) Not to defend these apparent crooks, but hearing a Russian talk about corruption in banking this way is quite amusing... the fact that there's even an investigation makes this story one of transparency and justice compared to what happens in Putin's Wonderland.
