  • I am a nontheist because I was raised a devout Catholic then I converted to Lutheranism and when they apparently disagreed with some notions of reality I abandoned having beleifs altogether. I found they weighed me down. So now I do not beleive anything I hear. I must have cold-hard evidence and I must find it for myself. Doesn't make me a "Believer" of nothing, just makes me a believer in my own ability to see and hear the universe. That's fine because I can see it better than anyone else.

  • I'm glad you can see things better than anyone else. The universe needs a supreme being.

  • It doesn't matter what faith anyone is. As long as they're not hurting anyone, right? :)

  • yes yes yes yes yes

  • pulkeodbanan hindus are cannot be classified as hindus

    many hindus dont even worship

also caste system is immoral but original caste system wasnt like that

    corruption however changed the system

im not saying anything against the abrahamic religions

  • So i can´t agree with you kumarz998, but thats cool :-)

  • I think what you are saying about hinduism, can be said to be true about buddhism. I am not a expert in hinduism, and i am positive that you know more about it then me. I know mostly about Islam and christianity, and i don´t like any of them. But to me there is a lot of suporstition in hinduism. and i find the idea of the caste system to be amoral. And the fact is maybe you don´t belive in god, but most hindus do, so for the most i will say hindus belive in god, and are therefore not atheist.

  • poulkeodbanan hinduism is a philosophy type religion

it does not require you to beleive in god

in fact Lord Krishna has proved that to us hindus that very fact with the Govardhan Rock and its story of Indra

Many of our Gurus were Atheists too

in fact my cousin is an agnostic Hindu

  • Hmm if you have said buddhism i agreed. Buddhist don´t belive in god. But hinduist belive in god. You can not be a atheist and belive in god. Being and atheist is to not belive in any god. You can agree with some and even all the hindu filosofi about the way to live your life and so on, but if you do not belive in god, you are be definition not a christian, jew, moslem, hindu, becaurse they belive in god. most people, religius or atheist will agree to this.

  • you probably didnt know that hinduism can be practiced being agnostic, atheist, monotheistic, and polytheistic.
