You're thinking too rationally about a film that is shown from the perspective of someone who is losing their mind. The disfigured guy is a symbol, and purposefully enigmatic. If the film adressed who he was, it would be WORSE for it, not better.

The movie was amazing apart from the ending for me - it just wrapped up too nicely. A more ambiguous ending would've been better...

looks to me like that mima's character look like walt disney's feminine characters like alice in wonderland, peter pan, cinderella, the sleepy beauty, beauty and the beast, the snow white, and the little mermaid, don't you think so?

This is a good movie. Hands down one of my favorite animated movies of all time.

@cyberlord64 I've heard some people think that perfect blue had plot holes - but if you pay attention to the themes of identity and perspective - it could very well be that the movie never has a solid conclusion. On who's perspective does the film rely? Listen to what everyone - even the characters that might not seem real - have to say and it's a very fun movie to mull over.

I'm actually surprised at how much liked this movie, i watched it alone in a dark and quiet place and by the end of it, the creepy music really started raising my goosebumps.

I saw the movie an although it was very confusing it was interesting to me and I think had a good plot
