Yes, this is a TRUE point. I agree, and simply hope that LA hasn't doped. However it may sound on my part, at the end of the day it's only because I believe he hasn't doped. Nothing more. I haven't got anything else to go on...
If he has doped or 'taken/done something' to gain a cheating advantage, I truly believe that someone (or more than one) would be so outraged by such a revelation that his well being would be at risk. He'd go downhill fast in the US and would need protecting..

@eirepol73 I'd say the same thing about LA. If it turns out that he has doped (see the FL accusations), it will destroy cycling. At least in a lot of non-european countries, fan wise. But also economically. A lot of sponsors will not be impressed.
