Thank you Tim....as always!

Sorry, dude! I have to disagree with you! I don't think you're spending too much time cooking at all...I am sure others agree AND appreciate it as much as I do :)

Wow! Great info. My husband loves french dressing but I don't like buying it because it is full of sugar and other junk and it's expensive for what you get. I'll try this.

Tim, you are a genius.

I am going to try your French Dressing today. BTW....I always loved that song. I got caught up in the song and had to go back to get the recipe. Love it...thanks for sharing:)

If you like the country french & still lose, you can kind of use that recipe as a base - a few more spices this, it's ketchup, little more herbs that - it's shrimp cocktail sauce, a little more spicy heat - it's steak or bbq sauce. In moderation as with everything of course.
Music is funny like that, I get caught up in it quite a bit. Good that even when a group is long gone they're not forgotten.

Another awesome video....Hope you don't mind my adding to be very careful with the packaged salad dressing mixes, even when NOT on the VLCD, many (or most) of the contain sugars :( One good one is the Homemade Dressing Mix (from Amazon) it has nothing "bad" in it, in fact - it's even ok for most of us on the VLCD :)

Hi D. Figure people on the protocol are in the habit of checking the product info, which was kind of the point in the good seasons dressings - to check what's in it, then substitute your own. GS has sugar & maltodextrin, then there's dextrose and the evil HFCS - basically jot down list of ingredients then "healthy it up" yourself at home, replacing sugars with 0 or low carb alternatives.
I might need to have my estrogen level checked, must be elevated, spending WAY too much time cooking.
