Lyrics:
Marlena, Marlena
Marlena, don't go oh no whoa whoa
Cause I love you so whoa whoa
Never gonna let you go
Marlena, come on girl won't you give in
Can't you see that you can't win
Never gonna let you go
Flirtin with the guys on the corner
You're such a bad girl
Tellin me you're out with your Mama
That's a lie but I still love my
Marlena, don't go oh no whoa whoa
Cause I love you so whoa whoa
Never gonna let you go
Flirtin with the guys on the corner
You're such a bad girl
Tellin me you're out with your Mama
That's a lie but I still love my
Marlena, come on girl won't you give in
Can't you see that you can't win
Never gonna let you go
The drummer on the fade out rules!!

@beggin1967 - Harry Harrison, Herb Oscar Anderson, Joe O'Brien, and of course, the late, great 'Professor' Scott Muni who we later loved on FM's WNEW, NY. Great era of radio the likes of which we will not see/hear again. I think there is a web page for WMCA's Good Guys out there.

Jersey Boys is the Story of, is that difficult to get .they unfold a story none of us knew back then, sing the songs beautifully,of course not like the boys, because they are not the boys.devito, valli, massi, gaudio, and i put in joe, like it or not.those are the boys,im talking seasons, not lovers,or anything else all part of the development, however.

Nothing can come close to the screaming wail of Frankie Valli's falsetto to bring back memories of those incredible 60s, crusing the circuit in Asbury Park cranking up the volume on AM radio (WMCA Good Guys), AFTER dancing at the Ascension CYO! Treasured memory and best time to grow up EVER, hands down.

My name is Marlaina, and I am named ater this song. The spelling is different because my parents decided to try to be unique, but it is pronounced just like in the song. My dad heard this song as the "B" side of the record in high school shop class, and wanted to name his daughter that if he ever had one. Many years later, he had my sister, Marcie (also a Four Seasons song), and many years after that, they had me, so he finally go to use the name he liked back in high school! :)
