  • Why'd you kept talking to the antagonists during the fight?? Was it for buff or something?

  • In SMT: DS, you can negotiate with even bosses (of course it 100% fails though). So I just wanted to show their responses.

And thank you for commenting on my first video.

  • So what exactly is the plot of this game? Like...what is Sid trying to do?

  • I know this game is old, but it looks cool.

  • 1099 HP? Holy sh- how can you do that?

  • @DrolKeegEht Well, some of his work is good. For instance, I love his soundtrack to Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey. I wish all of the games recently used the kind of soundtrack that one used instead of hard rock, punk and J-Pop, like what he does in all of his other games.

Like I said, I always felt that Tsukasa Masuko's music for the SMT series was the best, as well as Hidehito Aoki's compositions.

  • @MysticArksRevenge Honestly I'm a pretty big fan of Meguro's work. I guess I just enjoy SMT music in general.

  • The theme played from 1:04 to 2:02 is not on the original soundtrack.

  • @DrolKeegEht I agree. All of the SMT games that were composed by Tsukasa Masuko ( SMT, SMT II, SMT if, SMT Devil Summoner and SMT Devil Summoner- SOUL HACKERS) are the best ones. I am not a fan of Shoji Meguro's music to the series (Except SMT Strange Journey.).

  • @DGneoseeker1 Actually, a lot of jRPGs use Japanese in their menus as well ('tatakou' for attack, 'mahou/waza' for 'magic/skills', etc..), but since RPGs have their origins in the American made pencil and paper games (like D&D), most Japanese RPG fans are aware of english words like Hit Points, Level, Attack, Magic, etc...Sometimes RPG devs will use the English words because it appears more stylish to the average Japanese player (the same way Americans will use random French to sound 'fancy')

  • How come there is stuff in english besides the menu commands?

  • OK someone really must explain this. Why do Japanese RPGs always seem to have most of the text in Kanji, but the main menu commands in english? How the hell does a Japanese person understand it?
