Bob McCauley's rebuttal to Dr. Mercola - Dr. Cousens Debate on the Vegan Diet. Chlorella and spirulna were discussed along with raw food and why people fail on the raw food vegan diet. It's because they don't do it correctly.

  • are you also grouping the carnivorous wild animals (lions, tigers, bears, oh my!) in your assertion that wild animals do not get the chronic diseases that humans get?

  • @livesimply70 ALL animals in the wild, not ANY that live in a zoo where they are fed by humans. My point is that living on raw foods, whether animal or plant, does not generate disease in the body. So yes, carnivors that eat raw meat would qualify.

  • @livesimply70 Yes, that is correct. Not viral or bacterial. Chronic disease is not found in the wild. Send me the evidence if you have it.

  • Great video. Your enthusiasm and message are really consistent, although I must pinpoint the fact that there is no evidence whatsoever to suggest the need for any exogenous protein source other than that contained in fruits, vegetables nuts and seeds. That´s like validating the fraudulent proteic paradigm that claims that plants do not have a level of protein high enough to sustain optimal health, the same misconception that drives vegetarians to tofu type foods.

  • @DrSeptember Well stated about protein in plants, but I do not agree with that concerning vegetarians who simply remove animal protein from the diets and continue to live on a diet consisting of plant-based only. In order to be healthy on a vegan diet, you must consume primarily raw fruits and vegetables. However, I still think that for Great Health, Robust health, you need to include algae. I 100% agree with your take on tofu. Soy is terrible in any form.

  • Spirulina tasted awful the first times. Now I've come to love the taste, weirdly enough!

  • My friend's wife got an intestinal worm from eating raw meat. She believed that eating garlic with the meat killed the bacteria. Welp, looks like she was wrong. Mercola's promotion of raw meat is reckless because it will lead others to make the same mistake.
