The new Crosman Titan GP has created quite a stir. That is why I bumped it right to the top of the pile and got the review out this month. The TitanGP is a scaled down version of the Benjamin Trail and it shoots pretty well. It would benefit from a trigger overhaul however. Velocities did NOT match marketing, but we are used to that by now.

The better choice.. by a mile better choice, would be the Trail NP .22 all weather. it is more money, but well worth the extra.

    Hey Rick,

I was looking at the same rifle you mention but it has the same velocity, what makes it a better choice?

  • @jasonc2733

The "real" performance of the Trail vasty supersedes the Titan.. regardless of what the box says. The Trail gets 730 to 740 fps with 14.6 grain H&N Field Target Trophy Pellets. It is also more accurate.

    Cheers

  • I have the titan gp .177 and im not very happy with it. Its shoots all over the place.

That is par for the course with these guns.. some are great.. some are note. Call crosman and have them send you a new gun. The more we require them to stand behind the product, the sooner they'll improve their quality control and the initial quality of their products.

Right now.. the Hatsan line has some great guns for under $200 and they have great build quality, power, and accuracy.

same gun.. save your money and get the Trail NP which is better than both of them.

    Cheers
