im thinking about buying a klr 250 just like this..its in like-new condition with 2,500 miles, how much do you think its worth? he wants $2,000 for it

@michael17415 I took mine on a mx track , own most other riders , yeah i ride,but still they do great off road, mines got a mircron can on it , it pops flame out of it , its sweet ;)

Yeah, these things are awesome. I have a '99 that I picked up pretty cheap and thought that I'd "upgrade" to a KLR 650. After dumping it several times in the mud, because it's just too heavy for off-road use, I sold the 650 and kept the 250 which handles beautifully off-road.

i had an 89' model klr250, it was pretty flogged out but an excellent bike nonetheless vary stable and can ride all day

@drewx420 The KLR 250 will run all day at 85 -90 mph. The KLR will more than keep up with Harleys and Buells as well as 80's middle weight 600's. I'm getting a KLR 650 next to tour on. The motors on these things are built to take a beating. I had a KTM Duke that needed work every other week. KLR's rule !!!
