  • I stand corrected! It is indeed, a 2 stroke. My dad is the expert, not me.

  • Is this a 2-stroke or 4-stroke engine ?

  • I believe the hot tube engines are 4-stroke. The hot tube serves in place of a spark plug. The hot tube alone is not enough to ignite the mixture, but the heating from the compression stroke plus the hot tube puts it over the top.

  • @SynthD00D most glow engines are 2 cycle

  • Them flywheels look like they'd break an arm if you're not careful.

  • This is not a hit and miss. It is a 2 cycle and will hit every stroke if tuned properly. If you notice it has a crosshead so the rod does not connect to the piston.
