@Nivlektehfudger Well SEGA dropped Crush 40, or their contract was up, a year or two ago. But yeah, Crush 40 handles the theme songs (usually) in the modern gen. Sonic games, but they get other bands occasionally to write other tracks. Sonic 2006's theme song was performed by like 3 different bands, and they used all three arrangements in-game or in the soundtrack. It's not common sense knowledge, it's hardcore nerd knowledge lol.

@Patchworkdrum Well... I've been thinking it was Crush 40 since 2007 o.O
I guess I gotta update my knowledge haha
-
@Nivlektehfudger Actually it's not so much Crush 40, it's Ted Poley and Tony Harnell's song "City Escape." The really pop-punk one from Adventure 2.

Loved this song for so long. It's different.

This song is awesome!!!
-
That's because this song sounds very similar to songs played by the band Crush 40, a band that has often made music for the Sonic video games.
:)
btw Sonic the Hedgehog rules!

played this for my show the other night that place was jumping

@bubblegirl99xoxo Actually this song is mostly just power chords its a lot easier to play on the real guitar and drums as opposed to the game which doesn't do great with turing a 21 fret guitar with six strings into a 6 button controller lol
