So, to draw the head from many angles, you need to learn how to draw the base form from any angel. Sculpting will really help in this regard.

Sweet nice little basis for basic lighting of the head. Wish you had one more on it being lit from underneath, but I'm assuming you just invert all the shading for that, right?
