spring time snow storm in new jersey cold start after reviewing video i noticed flames commin out of pipes at about 4.40 into video i will have to do this one nite to see what i come up with

@Mr98SupraMan sure i did the puddle was right under it and most owners have their idiot drivers check everyday because they are incompident i no what kind of leaks the trucks have and by the way this engine doesnt have any oil leaks or consumption

While I like the sound of a big diesel like this they really are annoying when you have to hear them thunder up the hill in front of your home day in and day out. The difference in volume between a properly muffled rig and one like this is simply incredible and despite all the 'noise' to the contrary, properly designed and installed mufflers do not make a significant difference in power or economy. Consider how many people are affected when you think about removing the mufflers.

@DrFrankeni its odd that no trucks were running up the hill when u went to look at ur new house plus this model truck from peterbilt was factory made without any muffler at the time of manufacture and was the only truck peterbilt made this way

@malonemotorsports1 No it's not at all. The family house was built in 1960 when the road was a two lane rural road. There was exactly one traffic light in town (3 miles away) and no highway. Now the road is 5 lanes wide with two lights visible from the house, 2011 average is 18,500 vehicles per day! Some trucks roll by almost silently others shake the china, presumably driven by those not considerate of others. Just because it's factory doesn't mean it's right.
