  • Unfortunately this didn't work for me. =( I have no idea why it would be so slow in even the _menu_, regardless of what settings you run. But anway, that icon theme are you using for Windows? It looks awesome.

And @Jkun: That's exactly how I feel! Except it doesn't matter whether I'm in the menu or in the game. I simply cannot play the game when it behaves like that.

  • @Colorshade You could try doing it in the Skyrim folder that's inside your My Documents folder; there are .ini files in there also, and sometimes it works there but not from the Steam folder.

The icon set is called Buuf if you wish to google it. ^.^

  • "that crazy noise in the background is the dog licking the cat's balls." you have a very strange dog.

  • @genericusernames2 Bowls. BOWLS. ;p

  • Best accent ever!

  • @TypicalScotsman Haha, thanks :D

  • 1.) I really enjoy your accent :)

2.) The part (0:30) about the dog licking the cats bowls...I had to pause the video until I could quit laughing haha

3.) Worked great! Thanks for posting!

  • If it says for you Acess denied: 1.Save as a .ini file in your documents folder

    2.delete your old SkyrimPrefs.ini file

3.Replace it with the SkyrimPrefs thats in your documents folder

    4.Done! =D

  • @welshpixie I tried changing the ini files in both locations and it hasn't made a difference at all.

Do you know if there's anything else I can try? :/

  • Thanks. Worked perfect for me.

  • @welshpixie Thanks. Yes, I noticed it was inside the My Games folder, but it didn't work. Alas, I've tried so many things and I have decided it is an unfixable error from the developer being too lazy to make games for other than XBox.

    And obligatory: Love your accent.

  • I cant find a Steam folder..

  • Didn't work for me :S
