Swing Nut vs Wing Nut: Gibraltar Hardware

Gibraltar Hardware decided to have a "Nut Off" between the swing nut and the wing nut to see which offers the fastest cymbal mount. Every second counts when you're being rushed on and off the stage.

The Swing Nut is part of the new Turning Point Hardware from Gibraltar.

You do not have to purchase the entire stand. We offer just the boom arm in the long and short sizes, SC-LBRA-TP and SC-SBRA-TP, that you can use with your existing cymbal stands or mini booms.

so your a few sentences faster with the swing nut. cool. however, using youze guyz racks, with my cymbals pre loaded on em, i dont have to worry about settin up 15 of those un a rushed stage. i can do my wingnuts on the side lines while the first band plays.. and do those swing nuts come on only the boom arms for racks? or is there an upgrade kit to retrofit your existing stands or boom arms to the swing nut? hmmmm
