When He really wants to get something across He delivers it three times. First it was St. Gregory of Nyssa, then you the other day on Grace pt. 4, and now Malcolm.

What is so good about the Gospel? That is the essential question and until the human being understands his utter depravity and lost-ness, he will continue to attempt control his own destiny including his pathway to heaven. Man is a fool to think he can make God bless him with Eternal Life by his own good deeds. It's all GRACE ... the unmerited favor of God given as a gift and never earned. Good news.
