This is my 2000 Jeep Cherokee with a Flowmaster Super 10 exhaust and a 3" tip. It has the 4.0 in it.

  • I have a super 10 in my stock grand cherokee 4.0 and it sounds nothing like this....why?

  • @cskinner1007

It might be cause you don't have a 3" tip, I know mine sounds nothing like this now cause I had to take the tip off to put my 2" shackles on it. I'm fixing to (hopefully this week) cut my pipe off after the muffler and put a turndown on it, Or weld the tip at the end of the muffler, to hopefully make it used to sound.

No problem. At the time, i didn't have a welder good enough to mess with to get the job done, so I ended up taking it somewhere to have it done. (though If I get something else anytime, ill weld it myself) The tip in the video though I just sawzalled off the end and clamped it on. When I put the turndown on it though, I sawzalled everything off from the muffler back and welded on a cheap AutoZone turndown style tip, sounds good though.

  • @ps3dcp8138 oops I meant 4500 rpms you're right about where it red lines. Thanks for the quick reply. did you sawzall the stock muffler off and just clamp on the muffler or did you have someone weld it?(or did you weld it yourself)

  • @Dodgeoffroadfreak

Well, I don't know what Jeep you are driving, but a Jeep 4.0 red lines at 5000, but I really don't like to have mine that high unless I am under a hard acceleration. Anyway, no, it dose not (I'm not to much into ricein' things) and I'm glad. Yes I still have my Cat on, though I have cut everything after the muffler and put a turndown on it cause when I put a bigger lit on it the tip would not fit and it didn't sound right, I'll made another video of that soon.

  • @ps3dcp8138 does it sound ricey when you rev to 5500 rpms? I love revving my Jeep that high(just before red line) lol. O and do you still have the catayltic converter?

  • that sounds really good

  • @Phil5393

    Yes it is.

  • is that the stock pipe?

  • @snowmobiler56

Sure, though it is a bit muddy from me mudding on the 18th at the 4 wheel parts 50th anniversary thing. Also I have gotton rims since this video, so if you have stock rims it is sit a little higher.
