Take off with BMI Airbus A319

This was the first time I flew with BMI, and I was very impressed with the spacious cabin and nice interior and good service. Here we take off with an Airbus A319 from London-Heathrow runway 27L bound for Berlin-Tegel airport on a cloudy July morning. I was suprised by the low take off thrust setting, which resulted in a longer than usual take off roll, but this was increased during the climb (listen at around 2;07)

Nice footage, bmi are great!!! On my flight to EDI they used a very low power setting for the A319 on the way up and similar to your return video it was a powerful takeoff returning on the A320
