It's all lip synced, despite the band member appearing to actually play their instruments and sing. It's too close to the studio version of the song to be a live performance. If youve ever been in a band, you'd know that no band can completely reproduce the studio sound in a live performance.
But don't be too hearbroken: This kind of lipsynching was commonplace until the Milli Vanilli scandal broke.
R. Traffic was lip synched but No Lies was live and boy was it ever done well. I loved the sampling on those retro electronic drums and Preuss was shining on the keys as usual. Nice vid.
Oh my God!! I was there with my sister (she`s the wearing the `Feed The World` shirt sitting on the stage in the front). We had only seen a recording of it once back in `85 and we thought it was lost in the archives forever. Thanks for posting - brought back great memories of the great time we had that night!
Great video from a great 80's Canadian band! The lead singer (Gord) kinda looks like Uncle Jesse from Full House in these performances. LOL

@cookie13ca - No, this was definitely Rock Wars. Like I said, I was there, and they were taping it for the following Friday night broadcast.
@ajittffucre - it was awesome! Had a big crush on Gordon Deppe at the time, and it was so cool to be only a foot away from him...lol
