  • What is the male doing at 2:25? Just curious, I know virtually nothing about spiders lol.

  • Hey dude, hope you don't mind me asking you a few questions?

I'm getting red knee's myself and the idea of breeding is appealing. I know whats involved with how to go about it, time scales etc. But i was wondering about the amount of eggs and how many of them actually hatch into nymphs and later spiderlings etc. The prospect of having 1500-2000 jars/tubs with baby B smithi's around the room is a bit daunting is all.

Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!

    All the best,

    Brian.
