Pete explains to us the right way to measure and install our driveshaft in our Streetbeasts Fiberglass Kit Car. DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! http://www.southwestrodandcustom.com or 972-420-1293
Pete, may i just suggest a small thing? It is not a bad idea to photocopy the little diagram and take it to the driveshaft place. I remember many years ago doing the measurements and the company that did the propshaft allowed another inch.
The measurement we gave them was from the rear axle flange to the rear of the gearbox, we thought it was clear that they understood that but apparently it was not. Propshaft was usable but not ideal. Too long ago to remember the details...
People watching this would do well to heed Petes advice, it all makes really good sense. Watching just the one video could save you a heap of problems.
