impeccable rendition! quaint and warm and all that. also, very good pronunciation on leah's part, considering she's never spoken it... she got all the final Es! (Es at the end of words in french aren't pronounced when spoken, but they are when sung. just a little fun fact).

You have those spider fingers needed to play an instrument like that. Great duet. Loved it. The Venetian in Las Vegas hires talent with that style of music.

This is really quite nice- one of my favorites of this composer to sing. Leah does an excellent job of the French, by the way; one would never know that she was apparently clueless.

terrific! I have to say I'm always impressed with your videos. Is a lute much harder to play then a guitar?

@DigitalCable well, I find it to be. you have to be much more delicate and precise with it, yet play loud enough to be heard (it is pretty quiet). also, "correct" renaissance lute technique dictates the use of no nails, but i have to keep mine for the sake of my other instruments.
