  • thanks - I appreciate it! For the longest time, I used .015's for CGG - with a .028 bass - I didn't get too much rattle. Some dulcimers handle the drop tuning better than others - I don't think I own a single one. Heh.

    I just ordered a Ron Ewing...do you need different strings for the CGG or can you just tune down the step w/o rattle?
