Jesus must be Lord in all areas of our lives including our appearance. Modesty, femininty, and dignified Christian manhood, once a badge of honor are traded for outrageous, daring and indecent designs of a self-centered, sensual culture that opposes all that is holy and pure. Godly preachers in the past were bold and preached on this subject because it was important. It still is important! The seeker friendly churches of today could care less about the doctrine of modesty. Numbers is all that matters is these churches. A church in my area had a sign outside that said "Cool, Casual, and Contemporary". That says it all, doesn't it. It's like a Christianized Starbucks.

To RavenNeo the BIBLE COMMANDS us to dress in modest clothing and if a man battles with lust a women who dresses sexy in revealing clothes will draw attention to herself and cause him to lust.This is wrong.Girls wearing miniskirts and who show cleavage and alot of skin are not modest and most likely do not seek to be holy.

@Sweet92Sue GOOD POINTS-The sad thing is that in almost all churches the issue of modesty has been so neglected that women can dress in very immodest indecent clothes.This video gives some very obvious guidelines.I would never suggest covering your hands and eyes and it is not implied in the video at all.The point i was making if a woman dresses modestly a man is less likely to lust.If she dresses immodestly the temptation to turn heads and cause lust is much greater.

This needs to be a forefront topic in the church and within youth group meetings! Since I attended my first college retreat I realized how important modesty is to God. I'm still learning and today's generation really needs to know this is one of God's desires for us all. Thanks for posting!

WHY IS IT ALL THE WOMAN'S FAULT? Guys can lust after a women even if she's wearing a baggy t-shirt for petes sakes. When are we going to also hold men accountable instead of always blaming the woman for HIS lust? It's ridiculous

By dressing modestly, a woman will attract only the people that are interested in their inner beauty. The person that sees more in her than just a pleasure object, and also the person that will continue to have feelings for her in her 40's, 50's or 60's when her looks will fade.

Any woman who dresses in an indecent manner always attracts the negative people to her. Most of them dress that way in order to draw the attention of a man hoping for a stable relationship...but they fail to realize that a person that is attracted to their looks, will lose interest in them after they gets use to those looks. That's when marriages fail or the man decides to cheat.
