I got bored bowling one handed so I started fooling around with 2 hand bowling. My friend laughed and said it looked funny. December 2010 I looked up Two Handed Bowling on Youtube and found Jason Belmonte. Now I can only bowl with two hands, I cant go back to One hand anymore.
My highest score with one hand is 218 and two hand is 258. My average ranges from 150 to 190 after 5 to 8 games on a given night. It took me a month bowling 5 nights/week, 7 games/night with my friend to get comfortable with it.
From what I learned, it doesn't matter how funny you look bowling. As long as your body is comfortable with it and you are consistent. The lane today was newly oiled so I used more spin and less thrust (velocity). If I wanted more speed and power I would swing the ball back further behind me. Using two hands is awesome cause I can make the ball bowl straight (good for spares) or give it super spin for the oily lanes.
