Definate Genesis probe. Drone-chute malfunction. It happened more than once, i've seen others do the same thing.

This is fake I was there

I can however be certain that this is indeed not a vehicle design that would normally be associated with current technologies involved in the pursuit of scientific knowLedge and the exploration of space.

Such crafts need to be relatively small, low in mass and light enough to place into orbit using conventional rocket technology. If such a vehicle were used, it would perhaps take a rocket many more times more powerful that the ones used in the Apollo missions. It's design is unorthodox. I cannot explain this footage and make no assumptions.

This raises the question, for such a vehicle to have sustained such a force, this type of force as a result of loss of functionality must have been incorporated into its fundamental design and vigorous testing must have been essential. It is difficult to deduce the scale of this vehicle. Being as objective as I possible can, I would say that this resembles in no way shape or form the type of technologies used in the pursuit of knowledge.

With respect to the comments re: NASA probe, this is the image of the actual vehicle and is by comparison considerably less massive and would most certainly have been destroyed beyond all recognition given the energy released at such a high velocity impact. Looking at the impact footage the vehicle has sustained obvious damage yet its structural integrity seems to be more or less intact

krass
This would seem to be footage from NASA's Genesis mission, which sent a probe into space in 2001 to gather particles streaming from the solar wind in order to study the sun's composition. It's shute failed to open, and it crashed to earth in September 2004 in the Utah desert. Scientists were still able to salvage some of the samples, which reveal that the sun has a chemistry different from that of the earth and other planets. (Reported in _Science News_ magazine, July 16, 2011 issue.)
