James Burton; Europe's First "Legal" Medical Marihuana Patient and Provider

Is BLINDNESS hard for government officials to understand? James Burton would probably be BLIND if not for cannabis used as glaucoma medicine.

The main difference in Europe between medical marijuana and "legal marijuana" for adults in cannabis coffee shops, is the lack of tobacco used with medical weed. I am yet to see that combination mixed together for medical uses. The medical marijuana visitor to a dutch pot coffee shop may need to leave the premises to avoid the tobacco smoke. (But tobacco was BANNED recently in all cafes, coffee shops, and restaurants.)

Even Europeans who are not regular tobacco users, often mix cannabis with tobacco before smoking it. In the Western Hemisphere, this is very rare. In North and South America, tobacco if used, would be used seperately. (Cough!!!!)

Although Holland is supposedly a leading scientific nation, hardly anyone there knows much about medical usage of weed; much less, the endocannabinoid system.

(NOTE: I am fairly certain that High Times discovered James Burton before I did; in any case the guys who used to run the "info-centrum" near central station told me about him in October 1993.)
