An interesting practice of creating lakes from river valleys in an effort to reduce the cost of harvesting. A creek is dammed up and trees fallen into the resulting lake where they are floated done to a dewatering point with no concerns for environmental impact.

the nickname is TimberWaste. The company big shot claims this is not a lake they are falling into merely a body of water that has backed up due to a landslide down stream. If this is so then why are there no tree tops sticking out of the UN LAKE ?.
