@dafttool These reckless comments are proof that you do not know anything about the Gov's pardons. This black kid was given 108 yrs for robbery with NO weapon when white kids in Ark. were given much less time for far more serious crimes. Gov. Huckabee did the right thing with the information he had. If you want to blame him for this guy having mental problems 10 yrs. later, go ahead. If the worse thing Huckabee has done is give someone a 2nd chance who didnt deserve it, he's alright by me.

@nrobyar That is an incredibly ignorant statement about Mitt Romney. Romney stuck to his principles on granting pardons and clemencies. He used the same standard for everybody. It was not political at all.
You obviously don't know what happened in Mass. during he whole gay marriage controversy. He used up a lot of political capital fighting for socially conservative issues in a very socially liberal state.

Governor Huckabee is a wonderful LEADER. That is the major difference between him and MITT. MITT is afraid to be a leader....he is follower. He will refuse to take a stand on anything that hasn't gone through his political team of analysts. Every decision MITT makes is "what's in it for MITT."

The guy Huckabee granted clemency to is on the run for KILLING 4 POLICE OFFICERS, and Huckabee has the GAUL to say, "Should he be found to be responsible for this horrible tragedy, it will be the result of a series of failures in the criminal justice system in both Arkansas and Washington State.
Huckabee blames others when HE let him out in the first place... Pathetic...

Romney had his eye on the presidency from day one as governor and ran the state for his presidency. He denied this young man this pardon so his numbers would be right for the run. I don't respect him at all. Huckabee GOVERNED his state, got many things accomplished and proved he was an effective leader. WAs re-elected til max term. All, even the liberals said that by any account he was a good governor.

You gave this Clemmons guy a second chance and he just executed 4 police officers.
Scum is scum! This guy was a hardened criminal w/a 95 year prison sentence and YOU let him off the hook.
YOU are partially to blame for those murders for your pure negligence.
