This was a day session in the middle of January. I decided to fish into a bed of dying pads - a normal rig wouldn't have been presented properly due to the debris so I done something a bit different.

The rig components where entirely Nash Tackle - Fang X hooks, missing link hooklink 15lb stripped back.

Bait was simply worms from my local tackle shop.

  • could you use a cut down pop up instead of foam?

  • @PeterCarper15 you could but it would be less buoyant and it wouldn't take much abuse with the baiting needle going through it three times in different directions. Although it's not impossible!

  • nice one m8 might use this rig on my 24hr session friday! well in! :)

  • @CJALL11 Good luck!

  • top rod m8

  • @TheCarpfeeder Thanks :)

  • Great stuff there...Like ya said Chods are for those who put the thought into em :-P. We've used a similar rig in the winter. We cut a boilie or pop up in half, thread parts of the worm on, half the pop up more worm parts then top of the pop up and lock it in. Ezra calls it the Worm Burger Rig. We've had loads of fish on it..I put the video as a response here as well..if ya watch it is round the 40 second mark.
