Paying taxes is something that needs to be done for the survival of our society. I do not care about paying a little extra in taxes.

Even if they did raise my taxes, I wouldn't mind. It will not drive me to the poor house anytime soon.

What I am more concerned about is the insanely huge and unnecessary military budget that wastes more of our money then anything else. We have the military industrial complex to thank for that.

The Iran-Contra Affair is the last thing we should discuss because I watched every hearing, every day, until it's conclusion. The deal with Iran was to secure the release of US hostages being held by Hezbollah. Israel would sell the arms and give the money to the US who then sent it to anti-communist rebels in Nicaragua. The investigation uncovered no evidence that Reagan had any knowledge of the plans. Let's not forget, Reagan brought down the Berlin wall which is worthy of praise.
