I went out yesterday with some friends in Ferraris for a little blast. Drove a 250 GT PF cab. Will be uploading video soon, if you want to hear a Columbo V12.

what a joy to see this videos! MANY THANKS! the Steve McQueen story only added up to the already amazing stories on some epic cars you drove and the people whom you had driving along. Stephen, thanks so much for sharing this. It's such a treat to see the brief era when these cars weren't the "assets" they are today, but rather 'fun machines.' You clearly got yours in. I'm going to hit MHD this weekend on the way to Paramount Ranch to see the old track. Will send you a good thought. Cheers!

Man what memories. The first time i met Peter Helm, when i was in LA visiting Joey Heatherton, he took me for the scariest ride of my life in his Ferrari. I'll never forget it. But what I'll never forget is he had installed a home stereo tape player in that car and it was the first time that anyone had ever had a tape player in any car. When I got back to NY, the first thing I did was to put one in my car. Peter was awesome and i hope to see him again after all these years.
